KaryaGati Software
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy exists because the product can message real people on your behalf.
Last updated 15 September 2026
The short version
- Nothing illegal, and nothing to another person you would not want done to you.
- Only message people who agreed to hear from you. Honour every opt-out.
- No card numbers, medical records or biometrics without a written agreement first.
- Do not attack the platform, dodge seat limits, or resell KaryaGati itself.
- Most breaches start with an email from us. Suspension is a last resort.
The wording below is what counts legally. This summary is here so you know what it says.
The rule behind the rest
Do not use KaryaGati ERP to do something to another person that you would not want done to you. And do not use it to do anything illegal. The rest of this page is that one idea, spelled out.
Messaging people
The product sends WhatsApp messages and email to people whose details you load into it. That is the reason this policy exists.
- You need a lawful basis to contact every number and address you load. A bought list is not one.
- Honour opt-outs promptly. Once someone asks you to stop, stop.
- Follow TRAI rules on commercial communication, and WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy — templates and the 24-hour window included.
- No unsolicited bulk marketing, no chain messages, no numbers harvested from anywhere.
Content we do not allow
Do not store, send or process anything that:
- is unlawful under Indian law;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- harasses, threatens or defames a person;
- sexualises children, or incites violence against any group;
- contains malware, exploits or deliberately harmful code;
- you got by breaking into a system or deceiving its owner.
Data to think twice about
This is a work-management product, not a regulated-data vault. Without a separate written agreement with us, do not load:
- full payment card numbers or CVVs;
- detailed medical or health records;
- biometrics, or government ID numbers beyond what payroll or a statutory filing genuinely needs;
- anyone’s passwords to another system.
If your business really needs to, ask us first at legal@karyagati.in. With the right agreement in place, the answer may well be yes.
Do not attack the platform
- No trying to reach another customer’s workspace or data.
- No scanning or load-testing production without our written permission. Responsible disclosure is welcome — see Security.
- No scraping, bulk extraction or reverse engineering.
- No getting around rate limits, seat counts or entitlement checks.
- No shared or fictitious accounts to dodge per-user pricing.
Reselling
Running your own business on KaryaGati ERP, and serving your own clients from your workspace — yes. Reselling or white-labelling KaryaGati itself, or opening workspaces for other companies as a service — not without a written reseller agreement with us.
If this is broken
Our response is proportionate. Most breaches are a misunderstanding, so most of them end at the first row of this table.
| What happened | What we do |
|---|---|
| First time | We write to you and ask you to put it right |
| It continues | We suspend the feature being abused, usually outbound messaging |
| Serious or repeated | Account suspended, and possibly closed under the Terms of Service |
| Unlawful, or harming others | Immediate suspension without notice, reported where the law requires |
An account closed for breaking this policy is not refunded. You still get a reasonable chance to export your data, unless a legal order stops us.
Reporting abuse
Think a KaryaGati workspace is breaking this policy? Write to support@karyagati.in with the details. That includes people who are not customers — if you got a message you never agreed to, tell us and we will look into it.
